Rear Housing with Small Parts - Rose - For iPhone 8 Plus 

Being one of the first Apple iPhone of the newer generations to bring back the polished composition of a glass back panel has made the phone lighter and more elegantly designed. The downfall, is you now risk smashing posh the front and the back of your iPhone should it be dropped or mishandled.

Replacing the glass panel, albeit a lower cost solution, can be very tricky on its own. This is because the layer is very difficult to remove in one piece, which risks damaging your phone, injuring yourself on broken glass, and losing the smooth clean look once removed. 

This rear housing for the iPhone 8 Plus comes with the back glass fixed to the frame with some trickier to remove internal components already pre-installed.

Can I replace the back cover myself?
It is possible to complete a home repair of the iPhone 8 Plus housing. It's recommended that customers without at least intermediate knowledge of phone repairs take this to a qualified professional.

What colour is the glass & frame?
The glass is a very light peach. The frame is a darker gold colour

Is this an OEM replacement? 
Apple believes that the term OEM would imply the product was made by Apple, and as such, they do not accept 3rd party companies using this term as they do not sell to third-party companies point blank. This is a brand new product designed with high-end materials to replace the existing one on your iDevice.

Are there Apple logos?
As we mentioned above, the product is not manufactured by Apple. Using the Apple logo on a product that Apple has not manufactured is illegal. We here at iParts4u do not believe in putting our customers, or ourselves at risk of legal proceedings.

Once I replace the back cover, will my phone still be waterproof? 
The only way to ensure the phone stays IP6 water resistant as it is originally is to hermetically seal the unit after use. Replacing the back cover will generally mean that the phone will no longer be water resistant.
