• Swollen battery safety: never use heat on or near a swollen battery. Remove a swollen cell carefully without puncturing it, as punctured lithium cells can ignite.
• Back cover removal: the A51's battery is accessed by removing the back cover, which is bonded with adhesive. Use a heat plate or heat gun (around 80°C) and suction tools to lift the cover safely.
• Disconnect before fitment: disconnect the existing battery at the mainboard before removal to prevent short circuits.
• Adhesive removal: the battery is secured with strong adhesive. Use the correct solvent and a plastic tool to release it — avoid metal tools that can puncture the cell, and avoid applying heat directly to the cell.
