Before fitting any LCD, it is recommended to test them and ensure they are functional before going through the hassle of full installation. Testing your screens constantly causes wear on the FPC/motherboard socket. To avoid this and ensure all replacement LCDs you are fitting are completely functional, you'll want to use this inexpensive extended testing cable!
