• Clean before bonding: use isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove all old adhesive residue and contaminants from both the touchscreen frame and chassis surfaces before fitting the new adhesive. Bond strength depends entirely on surface preparation.
• Apply gentle heat during fitment using a heat plate or hot air station at low temperature (~50–70°C) to activate the adhesive and allow it to conform tightly to the chassis perimeter.
• Clamp or press evenly: after seating the touchscreen, apply uniform pressure around the perimeter for several minutes (or use a screen clamp) to achieve full adhesive contact and tack-up before the device is returned to the customer.
