The iPhone 14 Plus arrived a month after the standard iPhone 14 in October 2022, marking Apple's first attempt at a large-format non-Pro iPhone. It paired the standard 14's A15 chip and dual-camera system with the 6.7-inch display previously reserved for the Pro Max line — a configuration that initially struggled commercially. Apple reportedly cut production within months of launch, and the model was quickly overshadowed by the iPhone 15 Plus refresh. For repair shops, this means iPhone 14 Plus parts can be harder to source through general UK distribution than its sibling models.

iParts4U has actively built iPhone 14 Plus stock against this supply tightness. Our UK warehouse holds the screens, batteries, charge ports and structural parts repair shops actually need, with same-day dispatch on stocked items and trade accounts available for repeat buyers.

Common Faults With The iPhone 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 Plus shares the standard 14's internal architecture, but the larger 6.7-inch form factor changes the fault profile in two meaningful ways. First, drop damage skews higher — the longer chassis means more lever arm on impact, and we see a higher proportion of combined screen-plus-rear-glass damage on this model than on the 6.1-inch standard 14. Second, battery wear arrives differently — the larger battery is genuinely impressive at launch (this was the longest-lasting iPhone Apple had ever made) but the heavy daily use that long battery life encourages also means the cell sees more cycles per year, and capacity loss often presents earlier than expected.

Lightning port faults, rear camera lens cracks, speaker mesh contamination and Face ID drop-damage failures all appear at typical rates. The model's commercial unpopularity also means many units have been heavily used by single owners rather than churned through resale — capacity loss and wear is often more advanced per chronological year than on more frequently-resold models.

iPhone 14 Plus Parts We Stock

Stocked parts cover replacement screen assemblies in aftermarket and reclaimed genuine grades — both worth holding given Apple's tight grip on genuine 14 Plus inventory through service channels. Replacement batteries, Lightning charge port flex cables in all colour variants, front and rear cameras, individual rear camera lens covers, full rear glass panels, loudspeakers, earpiece assemblies, button flex assemblies, sim trays and the full range of repair-grade adhesives complete the listing.

Can The iPhone 14 Plus Screen Be Replaced?

Yes, and it's a high-margin repair for shops given the difficulty consumers have getting it priced anywhere else. Both aftermarket and genuine reclaimed 6.7-inch assemblies are available — the reclaimed option carries a premium owing to scarcer donor supply but preserves Face ID, True Tone and full colour calibration. True Tone restoration requires compatible calibration equipment regardless of assembly grade. Worth noting: the larger display means edge-to-edge alignment is more critical on this model — a poorly-seated assembly is more visually obvious than on smaller iPhones.

Can The iPhone 14 Plus Battery Be Replaced?

Yes, and replacement is in steady demand. Symptoms typically present as a sharp falloff from the model's launch-era endurance — owners notice the change because they're used to two-day battery life. The physical replacement is straightforward (adhesive pull-tab removal, same as the standard 14) but the cell is physically larger and heavier than smaller iPhones, requiring a confident hand during extraction. Tested replacement cells are stocked for professional repair use only.

Why Source iPhone 14 Plus Parts From iParts4U?
