The iPhone 4S is an older iPhone, but it is still a good device and a lot of people do still use it as their main phone. One of the main issues that people experience with this phone is that the battery stops holding a charge properly. If you find that your battery discharges too quickly, then you should consider replacing the battery. That said, you will want to ensure that you have a battery of similar quality and duration to that of the original phone. All our batteries for this smartphone are here so why not check out what we have to offer in terms of quality and cost.
You can find iPhone 4S batteries fairly easily as there are aftermarket parts available, some of which have expanded capacity (we have some examples here). High capacity batteries have a capacity of 1430mAh and will last for several days on standby. They will give you good talk-time and will last well when you are using GPS and other features.
Apple will cover dysfunctional battery replacements at no cost for any device that is still under warranty BUT most 4S devices are out of warranty by now. The good news is that it is fairly easy to replace the iPhone 4S battery yourself because all you need to do is unscrew the cover, unclip the battery and replace it. Completing a replacement should take just 15 minutes assuming you have all of the tools that you need on hand. It may well give your device a new lease of life.
With a good new battery you should be able to enjoy 300 hours of standby time, 40 hours of audio playback and 10 hours of video playback or wifi internet use. Repairing your iPhone battery will not take long and will get you back on your feet and up and running in no time.
Although many of our batteries perform well out of the box there are setting changes on your smartphone that you can make to help your battery last longer. For example:
Don't worry about letting your iPhone 4S battery completely die. These batteries are lithium-ion, and they will cycle well, so even if they lose charge you can recharge them fully without having to worry too much. The old idea of batteries having 'memory' no longer applies. Your battery may be affected by temperature, but don't worry too much about that, because it is a short term issue and it is not something that will persist. Usually, once you are back in an area with a more normal temperature you will find that the battery will last a lot longer once again.
Apart from the quality aftermarket batteries that we supply we also back up our products with a number of benefits
