Parco Scientific has been in this industry since 1960 - they have been supplying the educational and scientific market for over 55 years and are a leading brand in the US. Parco Scientific value quality and are on par with the likes of Amscope and other brands. Below are some questions answered, if you have any more do not hesitate to contact us to discuss further.
What Is A Good Microscope For Beginners?
Parco Scientific microscopes have been supplied in the thousands to schools and labs around the world. Customers with differing levels of interests can find a solution within our range of microscopes; for example, our Simul-Focal trinocular microscopes are the best solution for beginners and experienced users as they offer all the features needed to grow with you.
How Much Is A Decent Microscope?
That's the best thing about the Parco Scientific range - despite having been around for over 55 years they are not a well-known brand throughout Europe, so their prices are far more competitive than other well-known brands on the market. The prices range from £300 to as much as £1000 for the more expensive kits.
What Is A Barlow Lens?
A Barlow lens allows you to have a bigger working distance/space between the microscope lens and your working area - as this is used for micro soldering repairs you will need a good amount of space to work with a soldering iron and hot air rework station. We offer two types of Barlow lens (0.5 and 0.7) and would recommend either for this type of work.
Do I Need A LED Ring Light For My Microscope?
Without a ring light, such as the LED ones we sell, you will not clearly see the detail on the motherboards you are repairing so you will need a ring light with any scope you buy. These are universal, so you do not need to purchase these from us if you do not want to but we will ensure full compatibility.
What Is A C-Mount?
A C-Mount is an adapter used for the camera pillar on a trinocular microscope. Without a C-Mount adapter, you will not be able to connect a camera to your microscope.
