If you need to return an item, please complete our returns form before sending anything back to us. This helps us process your return quickly.

1) Unwanted Returns - Consumers (Non-Trade)

0-14 days (Statutory Cooling-Off)

  • Covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014.
  • Refund to the original payment method for the item price plus the basic delivery cost.
  • Customer pays return postage (unless agreed otherwise).
  • Goods must be unopened/unused, with all original packaging and accessories.

15-30 days (Goodwill)

  • Store credit for the current item price (original shipping is not refunded).
  • Batteries ordered with free shipping: £7.95 will be deducted to cover shipping costs.
  • Customer pays return postage, or choose an optional prepaid label:
    • £5.95 for standard (non-battery) items
    • £18.95 for battery items (hazardous goods surcharge)
    The label cost is deducted from the credit.
  • Items must be unused and in resaleable condition with original packaging.

2) Unwanted Returns - Trade Customers

0-14 days (Statutory Cooling-Off)

  • Refund to the original payment method for the item price plus the basic delivery cost.
  • Customer pays return postage (unless agreed otherwise).
  • Goods must be unopened/unused, with all original packaging and accessories.

15-30 days (Goodwill)

  • Store credit for the current item price (original shipping is not refunded).
  • Customer pays return postage, or choose an optional prepaid label:
    • £5.95 for standard (non-battery) items
    • £18.95 for battery items (hazardous goods surcharge)
    The label cost is deducted from the credit.
  • Items must be unused and in resaleable condition with original packaging.

31-180 days (Discretionary Stepped Credit)

For trade (B2B) accounts, we offer the following discretionary credit if the item is still actively sold by us and is returned unused in resaleable condition:

  • 31-90 days: Store credit equal to the current website sale price minus 15%.
  • 91-180 days: Store credit equal to the current website sale price minus 25%.
  • Over 180 days: No return accepted unless under warranty.
  • Customer pays return postage.
  • "Current sale value" means the price displayed on our website when logged in as a trade customer at the time the return is processed.

3) Damaged or Faulty on Delivery

  • Inspect goods on arrival and report any damage within 48 hours to info@iparts-4u.co.uk.
  • We will provide return instructions and will repair or replace and return at no cost to you.
  • LCDs: do not fit if damaged; test by connecting the LCD flex to the FPC only. Once fitted, the warranty is void because the part cannot be resold, and installation damage may occur.

4) Faulty Goods & Warranty

Within 30 days of delivery

  • Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the customer has a short-term right to reject, and may choose Refund, Credit, or Replacement.
  • We cover return postage (label provided or postage reimbursed).

After 30 days (within warranty)

  • We will provide Credit or Replacement (repair if possible). Where credit is issued, the value will be the original purchase price or the current sale price at the time the claim is processed - whichever is lower. No refunds after 30 days unless required by law (e.g. repair/replacement fails).
  • Customer pays return postage unless otherwise agreed.
  • Trade Customers: For manufacturer-fault warranty returns with a total return value over £50, we will provide a free Tracked 48 return label. This does not apply to extended warranty claims.
  • For trade customers, "current sale price" means the price displayed on our website when logged in to their trade account at the time the claim is processed.
  • Warranty period varies by product; see item description.
  • Warranty excludes accidental damage, misuse, and normal wear and tear. Consumables may be excluded.

LCD Dead Pixel Policy

  • LCD is considered faulty if there are three or more dead pixels. One or two is within manufacturing spec.
  • Typical dead pixel size is approximately 0.27 mm.

iP9 & Ultra Extended 24-Month Warranty

All iP9 and Ultra series screens come with our extended 24-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering the following issues:

  • LCD & OLED Damage: Black spots, lines on the display, blackouts, etc.
  • Damaged / Torn / Bent Flex: Tearing or bends due to fitment errors (excludes iPad).
  • Frame Separation: The display assembly frame is coming away from the display panel.
  • Water Damage: Any damage found to be from direct or subsequent water damage (excludes iPad).
  • Screen Burn: Display issues caused by wear, tear, or overuse.

Important: The above will be covered under the iP9 / Ultra Extended Warranty as long as the top glass of the screen shows no signs of cracks or deep scratches.

Remedy under Extended Warranty: If a claim is made under this extended warranty (and not the standard manufacturer warranty), the customer will be entitled to store credit or a replacement only. Where credit is issued, the value will be the original purchase price or the current sale price at the time the claim is processed - whichever is lower. No refunds are provided under the extended warranty.

Trade Customers: No prepaid/tracked return labels are provided for claims made under the extended warranty.


5) 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on most products (excluding headphones for hygiene reasons). Return in original condition and packaging for a full refund.


6) Extent of Liability

Product descriptions are for general guidance and do not form part of the contract. You are responsible for ensuring suitability for your intended purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; our total liability will not exceed the invoice value of the goods. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.


7) Law & Jurisdiction

This contract is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you access our website from outside the UK, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
